Background Reportedly,theduoformedin2003,butbecauseofbeingbusywiththeirownbands,fromreleasingandrecordingalbumsandtouring,ittookuntil2005forthebandsfirstalbum(inatrioofconceptalbums)tobereleased.Thisalbumwasnamed"TheMagnificentDuke"andis18tracksinlength.ItistobefollowedbyDukePandemonium,tobereleasedApril2009,andfinallyDeathoftheDukewithanunknownrecordingorreleasedate. Thesecondinstallmentofthetrioofconceptalbums,thisalbumseemstobetakingmoreofasynthapproach,withtwonewtracksontheirwebsites,named"Silhouttes"and"EverybodyDance"butthebandhasalsosaidsomeothertracksonthenewalbum,whichtheyplayedlivewillbe"EroticRobotic","MusicShow"and"Heartburn".Thetracksarearadicalnewdirectionfortheband. Thealbumwasscheduledforreleaseinlate2006anda3tracksamplerCDdistributedtomagazinesandradiostationsinspring2006;butduetothetouringandrecordingcommitmentsofBiffyClyro,itwasdecidedtopostponetherecordtilthebandcouldactuallytourit. Inlate2008,itwasannouncedthat'DukePandemonium'willbereleasedon14thFloor/WarnersinApril2009precededbytwosingles,'KidGloves'(2ndMarch2009)and'RubberLover'(April2009). On21FebruaryitwasannouncedonaRadio2Sessionthat'DukePandemonium'isdueforreleaseonthe4May2009. Inthefuture,therewillbeathirdinthetrilogy,DeathOfTheDuke,whichistobeoutaround2011.Ithasbeenrumouredthatthealbumwillbeacontinuoustrack,almostlikeTubularBellsbyMikeOldfieldorOxygenebyJeanMichelJarre.IthasalsobeendescribedbyTheAtmosphereinarecentinterviewashavinga"Completelydisgusting"sound.
